Anaszazi stonework

The Anaszazi were the ancestral people of the Puebloan culture of today in New Mexico.  Their stonework, once hidden under mud plaster, influences stone detailing in Santa Fe today, as seen in this home.  This is a 4800 square foot house with two master suites at each end.  The walls are 24” thick pumice.  The design is a study in  fuerte Santa Fe Style, with its massive walls, hard-troweled plaster and flagstone floors.
